What should it cost to have this done! Double axle! Last time I had it done, it was $200.00. I went to a dealer and they wanted 269.00? Thinking that's high! Any thoughts, other than do it myself, ...

For us it is "insurance for peace of mind", We winter store our KZ with the selling dealer. When we drop it off in the fall we give him a list of items we want done, including re-packing bearings and inspecting the braking system. Cost is in the $250-$300 range. And yes they have in the past found additional warranty issues when inspecting the brakes. I would rather pay a little vs. having a mechanical failure on an interstate going through a mountain range.
