Wheelchair Accessible Toy Haulers

We ordered ours with floorplan h4. Are traveling to AZ this week to pick it up. No one would confuse a Dunesport for a luxury rig. But, for about a thousand a foot, they are very reasonable. They post 158 pictures of their units and post "happy customers" comments on their webpages. I will post a follow up after we take delivery.

We own a Dunesport and love it. We had a very good experience with them and really havent had any major issues with our TH. The only thing our TH has been in the shop for is the genny. Needed a new fuel pump and it was covered by warranty. Ours is not a wheelchair accesible hauler but I know they say they can build one for you. We have had ours for 4 years this February. Good thought! That is Paul Perish Ltd. aka Specialty Mobility I think they did some work on our friends vehicles too.

y=guy. there is a company in tri cities called Paul's and they do all the wheel chair mods around this area. they might even know how to get a hold of companies in KY for them

Most all are going to be custom built for any type of accessibility. A close friend of ours went the motorhome route, they searched for used ones a lot but they were snatched up fast anytime they hit the market.

Note that Fleetwood abandoned their non-motorhome market a few years ago

Dunesport is very much a west coast manufacturer. There are a few owners on there that have them. I'd say mostly they are not a high end type of RV, but for the money they get the job done.

To be honest I think it's great that they are advertising an accessible RV as they are. Not many manufacturers even want to touch the market, its mostly aftermarket. I'd give them a call and talk to them, if you haven't, if you feel they are customer focused and it's in your price range I think they'd be good to work with. Over the years I can't recall reading any huge problems with them, they just tend to be more starter type units and those not wanting to spend a lot of money - nothing wrong with that though.

PS: Since you can't see one, it might be worth the cost of an airline ticket to fly out and see the manufacturing plant in person and see some of their finished products.

Fleetwood has many brands of RVs and they have models that are accessible. Not sure if they have any toyhaulers.

There are many companies listed in a google search that will customize RVs to provide accessibility. You'd be able to find something you like and then have it changed to me your needs.
