- We boondock on busy holidays weekends and avoid all the hassles outlined above. We'll be camping at 8K' elevation just over an hour from home, riding our toys and having campfires nightly are our favorite things when boondocking.
- I have made it a point to stay home on Memorial day weekend. Too many bad experiences with loud drunks for my family. However, this year I messed up and made reservations at Trillium Lake on MT Hood. We shall see.
- Agreed! Staying home & letting everyone else have the campsites. :)
