If you are looking for somewhere to park for the night and keep moving the next day so you can reach your destination, you won't want to take the time to explore the area you stop at. You'll want to keep moving. If that is the case, then just plot out the KOA campgrounds along your route at KOA.COM to find the campground locations. They almost always have pull through camp sites with full hook-up. You don't even have to unhitch or put jacks down. Plug in shore power, run your water hose, and in the morning, dump your tanks and flush them out, and hit the road.
Now, if you're looking to stay a while at each of your stopping points, you can almost always never go wrong with State Parks, or State Recreation areas, or National forests.
