Where to Purchase a Cummins/Onan LP Generator
I have a gen prepped fifth wheel. I am headed to Indiana shortly from NC. Where would you suggest the purchase/install of a 5500 Cummins/Onan for a reasonable price?

I live just outside of Indianapolis and Cummins has a factory and Service Center here. They quoted me a 7000 Watt EFI for $4.650 which is a few hundred cheaper than Norwood's price and a lot cheaper than RV dealer. They suggested scheduling an appointment so they could see my RV before quoting installation cost. Since it is already prepped for generator, I would expect install to be more than $500-$600. Don't forget you still have to buy the exhaust pipe and in many places you will be required to have the vertical pipe to take the exhaust above tent level.
