Where to Purchase a Cummins/Onan LP Generator
I have a gen prepped fifth wheel. I am headed to Indiana shortly from NC. Where would you suggest the purchase/install of a 5500 Cummins/Onan for a reasonable price?

Sounds high for your RV with the generator prep package / wiring already installed. I can't imagine an experienced shop needing more than a day / 8 hours of labor to do it.

My trailer was prepped... here were MY costs -
$5300.00 - Onan 6500 LP with all parts included.. exhaust pipe and all hangers.. LP hoses and all fittings, battery cables ect . . .
$500.00 - Install Charge - Roughed out at 4 hours @ $125.00 per
$374.00 - Tax - thanks uncle sam
$6200.00 . . out the door
Was also quoted $5K out the door for the 5500
