Re "eye-candy"... Historically Northwoods was NOT your choice for that. Our 99 was simply solid. Solid oak cabinets, sheetgood counters and flooring. Good quality, but no stained glass inserts, designer fabrics, etc
With the 2013 models Northwood upgraded the "eyecandy" in the Silverfox editions (which the 27-5L is) Solid-surface counter ("corian", except it's one of the other brands), finishes, etc.
Actually if the had to replace the 2012 29-5E we have, it would be with the 27-5L, the new floor plan (2013) is soo much better then the 2000 to 2012 27-5L floor-plan.
The only fault I have for the Northwoods line is towel-bars, as in there was only one in the rig. We found some that matched and I added three in the bathroom and one in the kitchen. There was also only one in our 24-5N 1999, so it's historical.
