Thank you all for all of the advice so far. It appears that most posters are steering me towards the Arctic Fox and not towards the Big Sky. I'm curious to see the 27.5 5ver this week to get an idea of what they have to offer.
I know that my wife is leaning towards the Big Sky. If she overrules me (sometimes they do that) and pushes for the Big Sky, will that be a good 5ver, or should I just head for the DRV?
I'm hoping I can persuade her on the Arctic Fox though;)
Just get the price. A well equipped Fox will set you back around 50K A well equipped DRV wont start till you plunk down 100K, and most likely 125K to get a decently loaded one.
But don't force anything on her. Instead, go look, get rid of the salesman for a half hour or so and play house. See what is the most comfortable for you both. Pretend to cook a meal, use the shower, sit on the toilet. How much closet space is there for your clothes, room for pots and pans. Anyhow, you get the idea. Then each of you make a list of likes and dislikes on each brand your looking at. Go home and compare your lists, Discuss your lists and make the best decision you can. Remember it is your money not ours, so make the decision based on your preferences and go happy. Any manufacturer can make a bad unit. That is what warranty is for.
Donn, Great advice. I know that it's my $$, but you guys have been great at addressing my questions and giving me food for thought that I would have missed.
I'm really looking forward to this Saturday.
