I notice that you have a Cedar Creek. Is that by Forest river? How would you rate it's quality and longevity?
we've had it about 5 yrs. Came with a 2 yr. warranty and we had only minor issues in that time. In the 3-5 yr. range we've the following issues:
- delamination of chinese tires
- battery charger stopped charging
- sealed bearing failure resulted in us replacing both axles
- leaf spring failure
Fortunately non of the failures resulted in additional damage to the trailer. The floorplan has worked good for us as well as other features in and on the trailer. Would i buy another Cedar Creek?? Probably, but i would look elsewhere first. If I did get another Cedar Creek, or Lippert trailer, I'd get an upgraded suspension put on and i wouldn't have a trailer with sealed bearings again.
I've recently posted on this forum looking for trailers w/o Lippert components and that's what led me to Arctic Fox. We'd sure like to see one, but none are near us. Still, they are something we'd be interested in looking at when the time comes to get into another trailer.
