i'm not familiar with the Montana you're looking at & what it's weights are or anything. As a minimum i'd look for 7000# axles and G rated tires, maybe more depending on the GVWR of the trailer.
As far as holding up ok, you're in the same boat as the rest of us. You do your research as best you can then take your chance on what you think is best. One thing to check into if you haven't is the dealer you plan to use. See what kinda feedback you can find on them, check BBB if possible, talk with others that have used them, etc. Things can and will go wrong on a trailer, but a lot of the pain can be eased by a dealer and manufacturer that stands behind what they sell and make.
