Just to avoid confusion, the 3rd generation 5.9L Ram above uses a 48RE automatic transmission. The ECMs and PCMs of the 3rd generation trucks are different than the 2nd generation trucks with the 47RE (for instance, there's no Tow/Haul mode in a 2nd generation truck, just OD on/off.) I reiterate that a torque converter lockup device is required with the 47RE. If the US Gear module referred to above provides that torque converter control function along with exhaust brake control, that's great, but please confirm that with your vendor.
