We are talking about getting into tight National Park sites that were not designed for huge rigs... Many here mentions that its not the length of the site that is the issue, it is to get there...
Most National Parks in the US have within a few miles nice RV parks that can handle any size. Unhitch and drive the truck into the Park. That way you can have the RV you want and still see all the sights you want to see. Why get a smaller RV than you really want for the very few times it won't fit in a national park's older smaller site or access roads?
