Most National Parks in the US have within a few miles nice RV parks that can handle any size. Unhitch and drive the truck into the Park. That way you can have the RV you want and still see all the sights you want to see. Why get a smaller RV than you really want for the very few times it won't fit in a national park's older smaller site or access roads?
I thought about that. But my DW highly prefers to sleep within the park if possible. Its not just sight seeing, it is also about where we spend our time... I do realize this is an unusual requirement, and I'm looking at many different options, all with some sort of compromises...
