Which is easier to maneuver, 25ft+20ft, or pickup+30ft FW?

We purchased the smallest 5er that fit our needs because we prefer the smaller and out of the way places too. And we got stuck once maneuvering within a FS campground in Oregon. The entrance was posted with the warning but I drove right in without stopping first to read about when the junior ranger program was starting. We have also found that the height of 12.5' is also an issue (tree branches) for some of the more remote campgrounds.
