There are 2 ways to get more water out of a shower head. The first is increase pressure, which has it's own perils (leaks). The second is to unscrew the show head and "adjust" the flow regulator by increasing the size/quantity of holes. Small changes make big results. I did this to mine, making small adjustments until I had the desired flow rate.
In my case I wanted enough water to get wet and feel the water but still limit the GPM rating to about 3GPM (it started at 1.5gpm). This means when dry camping you get about 2 minutes of water for a shower before the hot water starts to run out, plenty if you are turning it off to soap up.
I used a residential handheld shower head that i removed the entire flow restrictor from, worked perfect.
I thought about that but I have too many visitors using it. With a 150gal water tank everyone in a tent wants to be my friend!
