That's not what I said putz! Read it again.

I said Heartland shouldn't get blamed for a Dometic issue or a Lippert issue with an hydraulic hose. As long as they responded fairly with repair, they did what they agreed to do in the warranty. Now if it was something Heartland did themselves, then they get the blame.

PS - I don't care why you don't own a Redwood - it was a mutual separation I'm sure.

This is our 5th year with our Cedar Creek Silverback....we still love it. I could think of a few improvements, like 6 point leveling, disc brakes, and maybe a second A/C...all wants.

DW & I looked at a palamino, just did not like the floor plans that were offered. We were impressed with the fit & finish of this brand. We finally settled on a blue ridge (by forrest river). After a trip from texas to Wash DC, we felt it did Ok. And yes, we had a warranty problem with the water pump not working. I had it fixed at a different dealer that were it was purchased new. Pull out the drawers and look behind to compare the quality of workmanship to other brands. I did not purchase the x-warranty, (no regrets). I would just keep that money in case you need it later. My dealer did not even know how to fix pex tubing that went to water heater.. I had to buy the fittings & do it myself. If I bought one that had sit on the lot for over a few months, I would insist on them re-calking all seams on the entire trailer room. I would then do a personal inspection to see how they did. If they refuse my request, I would leave immediately. Hope you the best.

Cheers! Yes we do like the floor plan & online look of the Sabre 32BHOK. And that's handy to know about the warranties been fixed all over the country, I thought we would be on our own once we left the state we purchased it in.

I would suggest checking out the Sabre line by Palomino, especially if you've found a floor plan you like. We had one for 4 years and really liked it. It is a well built fiver. Warranty repairs can be performed by most any Forest River dealer,of which there are many. They also are a very good value for the price you pay.

This is a good point actually. We had pretty much decided the warranty is worthless to us as we will be travelling around the country constantly with limited time. Certainly no time to wait around for warranty claims. We are hoping we can purchase an insurance of some type to cover breakdowns so we can get it repaired anywhere & hopefully quickly. Obviously depending on what, and I hope nothing major of course, needs repairing. If there is no such insurance? Then we could be potentually in for an expensive holiday I guess.
Which is why I need to find a manufacturer with a good reputation, and yes I know they all have there faults, especially if built on aMonday or Friday ;)
Maybe a used one of a couple of years could be a safe option? Most, if any problems have been sought end out?

What does Heartland have to do with the fridge, & A/C?they didn't build them. And a hydraulic hose is not a major issue. Go spend $300k+ on a diesel pusher and let us know how many issues you have to deal with. My 2013 Big Country has been great, doesn't matter what unit, or how much money you spend, they all have growing pains.

Before you get too hyped up on Jayco products you need to read today's posts. There is one fighting major delam issues. Jayco has agreed to fix it. Yea big deal the OP is basically without his trailer for months waiting for repairs. Not a great advertisement for Jayco IMHO
