We have a 2015 Ram 3500 single axle. We think it does a great job. It has more power than our previous 2004 Ram 2500, even though it tows a heavier rig (I don't think this is a base Cummins engine problem but a control design upgrade, correct me if I am wrong). I now have climbing and passing power to spare. I got the towing package that includes a heavier duty Class 3 receiver, pre-installed pucks in the bed for a gooseneck or fifth wheel hitch, complete wiring and a built-in dashboard brake controller. We too have had the emission control problem which required a replacement of the injector on the DEF system and the catalytic converter. Unfortunately this occurred on the road on a trip with a schedule, but it was covered as a recall item under warranty. The particular Dodge dealer we took it to in Gulfport, MS handled it very well. I note that a lot of my problems on the previous 2004 Ram were wiring/light system problems or pneumatic air conditioning control problems. None so far on this vehicle.
