Be very careful stepping up onto anything reaching into the bed of your truck. I blew out my ankle last June while stepping off my dullie after releasing the king pin. Spent next eight weeks in a boot and was a sucky vacation on crutches. I now use a step that goes over the tire, much safer and a lower step height.
