I hated my FW hooking and unhooking to me was a PITA so I went with a TT great decision FOR ME.
Interesting, hooking up to me is easy peasy! Close counts unlike TT that hitch needs to be directly over the ball.
I think that previous TT owners over think 5er hitching, have watched those that back up to where just before pin is to hitch then rais or lower until it is perfectly level with the hitch head before backing up. As stated pin always low, and pin only needs to get in the hitch slot, it will self center the pin.
I had a Pullrite Super Glide it had 5 degree from center or it would not hitch up and the only way to hook up was to lower the pin box and have it ride up to catch. I also had a bedsaver which didn't help. My TT and the factory back up camera on the tail gate makes it a piece of cake to hitch up.
The super glide was on you for wanting to tow a 5er with a SB, the bed save is a to me is a product that creates a problem that it is designed to save you from! Because it doesn’t allow you to connect correctly.
Those issues are not the 5ers issues.
