Why are rear kitchens not so popular?
I read the thread about rear kitchens and all who have them say that they love them and would have no other. If they are so wonderful, then I wonder why most (90+%) of the floor plans manufactured ...

Simple answer is, it is cheaper to put everything in the middle. Shorter plumbing runs on both supply and return lines. Shorter gas and electric lines. Weight over the axels means less support needed for the rear of the trailer.
We like our larger rear window with two recliners that look straight at the TV.
