Why are rear kitchens not so popular?
I read the thread about rear kitchens and all who have them say that they love them and would have no other. If they are so wonderful, then I wonder why most (90+%) of the floor plans manufactured ...

Not sure where the notion of rear kitchens not being popular came from but the question about how well they work has been posted many times. The general consensus is they work out fine.
We've had ours for 10 years and still like it very much. We have no more movement of items than we did with a mid kitchen model and we've never had anything broken.
