Why are rear kitchens not so popular?
I read the thread about rear kitchens and all who have them say that they love them and would have no other. If they are so wonderful, then I wonder why most (90+%) of the floor plans manufactured ...

I have been looking at the Pacific Coachworks Tango line, not the recent models, but the older ones from 2011 and before.
One of the things that struck me was their RKS models.
RKS is Rear Kitchen Slide. yeah, the units have a rear slide that comes way out, exposing an outside kitchen!
They had some great pics on their website before Pacific Coachworks fell over and went south with new owners, and they basically ruined everything the founders sought to build.
But it was a cool idea - a narrow slide coming way out with a full kitchen.
