We have had three fifth wheels, each with a different floor plan. This is our first rear kitchen and my DW says "we finally got it right". I have to admit, the additional room in the kitchen is very nice. We can both be doing things in the kitchen area and be very comfortable.
Someone mentioned they would lose their big rear windows in a RK model. Not necessarily the case. In our particular model, we have bow windows all across the back-with the center one being directly over the sink. With our last fiver, we had the entertainment center in the back-with no windows back there.
I suspect that how well they ride--or not--is very dependent on what was previously mentioned. Design-- ie weight, pin weight, frame, suspension, wheels etc all play a major role in those issues. I think by definition the rear of a fiver will bounce more than the area directly above the tires. But I don't believe it is neccesarily anymore of an issue than other floorplans.
