Our first TT was a rear kitchen and we loved the counter space. No problems with breakage in the cupboards and we used twist ties or child locks on all the cupboard doors. We also do this with our current centre kitchen 5er.
We are looking at upgrading to larger 5er and the new layouts for centre kitchens have either an island or L shaped counter so there is lots of counter and cupboard space which is usually the main reason to go with the RK. With the triple slide RL or RE models you get a better living room, TV watching space.
Give these factors the only reason,IMHO, to go with a RK is the Pin wt which is always a concern for me. I would think that the RK would give you a lighter pin given all the stuff packed in the kitchen cupboards and fridge. This should help offset the wt of the stuff packed in the front basement making a better balanced trailer. At least that's my theory. Anyone out there have experience that would prove or disprove this?
