Why did you choose a 5th wheel
I've spent some time reading thru the pages, and like many here the DW and I plan to retire by the end of next year and are planning to travel three to four months at a time. We're looking at Class A...

Boy great answers and insight, some of which I haven't really considered. Our budget will be 100 to 125K, I hope to be on the lower end, and if I can get under I would love that. Don't have a tow vehicle so that would need to be purchased.
2oldman, thanks for the links, I was going thru to see what I could find, my eyes started to glaze over before I got that far back.
I guess it's all about trade offs, I'm not sure if one holds up better than the other with the travel. I've heard A's were better and I've heard 5th wheels where better. Just appreciate hearing from people who lived it, some cases both ways which is great info.
