Local Freightliner dealer charges 100-200 bucks/hr to work on Freightliner chassis MH.
Large MH (class A) are nice as everything is on 1 level. Able to move about while underway. Easier to chat w/ others or play games while moving. Like AP said, nice to pull over when raining and just push a couple buttons and off to sleep and not get wet.
Smaller MH more cramped, expensive for what you get compared to a 5er (IMO).
5ers offer: more floorplans, more mfr's, more int room, use of TV when not towing as already said, 1 motor to maintain, kinda "stately" looking when being pulled or set up.
Never owned a tent/pop-up or TT. 1st RV was a 5er.
