Why did you choose a 5th wheel
I've spent some time reading thru the pages, and like many here the DW and I plan to retire by the end of next year and are planning to travel three to four months at a time. We're looking at Class A...

Thanks to everyone for their replies. Lot's to think about, was convinced Class A or c was the way I wanted to go. Won't have much use for a big truck other than pulling but I could live with it. Ease of setup was always one issue for me, but with the new leveling systems on 5th it has to be the same as class A. We're not going to full time but we do plan to spend 4-5 months in it escaping the cold weather.
Likes to tow brought up a good point to make it a permanent when we might be done traveling.
Do the 5th wheels and A's hold up equally as well during the rigors of travel. I would think the constant bumping and banging around driving it could cause some issues with walls etc., am I way off base with this?
