Why did you choose a 5th wheel
I've spent some time reading thru the pages, and like many here the DW and I plan to retire by the end of next year and are planning to travel three to four months at a time. We're looking at Class A...

There in is the question. Are you planning on staying in a Snowbird park for those 4-5 months in a 5th wheel or traveling around in a Class A or Super C?
Either will work the other way, however that is what seasoned people tend to think.
Personally I prefer a rig that I can back up if I have to(Pickup and 5th wheel) vs a MH and toad which you can not back up without dropping the toad.
Also the people in our snowbird park with diesel pushers must have a lot more money than we do.
