Will a Gold Wing Trike fit in a 10' garage

We are looking to buy a new Toy hauler and we want to haul our Gold wing trike. We would like to stay as short as possible on the length of our TH. Our trike is about 9'4" and I was hoping a 10' garage was big enough, has anyone hauled a GW trike? Any input would be appreciated....thanks!
  • Thanks for the picture, AZ, I still have concerns over the height clearance at top of ramp. I want to do a test run before making a purchase.
  • About the ramp door. Kinda depends on where you're parked. Sometimes I have to use the wheel chocks to raise up the ramp a bit and if I have to raise it up very high I use my leveling blocks for the wheels. My Raptor has a beavertail so generally I don't have to worry about breaking over the door into the hauler. Not fun if you hi-center on the transition into the hauler. A cheap angle finder is your friend, use it to measure how much angle you need to load without any problems and then use that measurement when you park to make sure you're ok. Don't forget to allow for a trailer hitch on the back of your trike if it has one.

  • Make sure the 10' garage is 10'. Our Fuzion "12' garage" was about 11' 8" the best I remember.
  • Yellermanx, I think we have decided on going with a 12' garage if we find a TH that we both like.

You will be better off. Happy hunting!!
  • Thanks Johnny, does anyone out there have a Carbon TH or know anything about them? The price tag is more in our budget and the quality seems pretty good, just not as many bells and whistles.

Yep, we're riding a 2011 CVO Road Glide with a Champion Independent Rear Suspension. These things set pretty low so you have to be careful of the ramp angle.

  • Thanks Dwight, we are having trouble finding a TH that we both like. We may just go back to another 5th wheel RV and either haul our trike in a trailer or leave it at home. Thanks for the info everyone!
