The big 3-4 are all good trucks. I am happy to say that, even though I am a Ford guy. I would happily own any of them.
I would urge the OP to go with the diesel from whatever brand you choose. The turbocharging makes all the difference when towing at elevation, and at this point there are no gas turbocharged choices. You just don't want a gasser in a 350/3500.
There is a sub-forum dedicated to tow vehicles here on RV.net. I would urge you to do your study there. There is a good selection of threads on all the various trucks.
