Will golf cart fit?

Hi all. I recently purchased a Grand Design Momentum 385TH toy hauler and plan on putting a golf cart in the garage. There is 76 inches under the happi-jack dinette from floor to support bracket. I ordered a golf cart with a 4inch lift and 12 inch wheels that is going to be 72 inches tall. I was wondering if coming up the ramp door to load the golf cart into the garage, will it possibly hit the dinette or is the 4 inch of space enough to clear it? I appreciate any feedback. I wanted to go with a 6 inch lift but that would make the golf cart 76-78 inched and I wouldn't have the clearance.

  • Well ya already ordered it so what ya gonna do if some one says it will hit the dinette :)

Worst case- it doesn't fit- make GC roof removable :)
  • Are you sure on the 76 inches? I measured the seats in a 355th this past weekend to ensure that my GC would fit. My GC is 78.5 inches at the peak of the roof and I measured 79 inches to the legs and 80 inches to the bottom of the seats. The seats would also lift up about two inches in the center. I feel that my GC would fit, I just may need a piece of carpet on top to prevent any rubbing.
  • I just have a regular standard golf cart and the drop down bed in the back of the garage and when I load the golf cart it clears the bed by a couple of inches. With yours being lifted I hope that it will go in there ok. If mine was lifted it would not fit in the garage unless I removed the bed. I would measure the garage and then call and get the height of the golf cart to be sure. good luck
