Will these Sailuns fit?

I know, yet another tire thread. My concern though is I may have to order these tires so I want to know if they will work ok. My current tires are the 235/80/16. Should the exact replacement size Sailun work? I have read so much lately it is mind boggling.

My trailer is relatively light +-11,000lbs, with a TW of 2460
  • I have had the S637 for nine months. We just got a 2017 Seismic and insisted on transfering them to the new fifth wheeler whick came with nitro filled Westlake. That is just me, others may think otherwise.
  • Make sure your wheels or OK to run 110psi. That size as an ST like the Maxxis 8008 version is only 80psi. The Sailuns need 110psi for 75mph and higher load limits.
  • Better hurry..."You Ain't Living Long Like This" because "The World Runs on Sex and Gasoline" and those Sailuns won't get "13 stitches cut by a sardine can skiing in bar ditch behind a Moped on Telephone Road" but they will look good at Prince's Drive-In and then you'll be "long gone to Lufkin".

  • Thanks Rob. I figured as much, just read so much that I was over thinking it. I plan on going with the 637.
  • If you currently have 235/80R16s and you order the exact same size, the tires will be identical in profile and width. We have Sailun ST load range Gs on our rig and I really like them. Our fiver weighed in at 13,175 last time with 10,250 on the axles. LOTS of capacity to spare on the tires!
