I've seen pin weights on 5th wheels such as ours go from 3800 to over 5000 lbs, depending on how it's loaded (the latter is for full-timers carrying LOTS of stuff in the basement). If you're considering a 42' 5th wheel, I'm sorry but a SRW shortbed is the wrong tool for the job, AFAIC.
