We have only had 5th wheels and we keep buying bigger and heavier. We now have a 37 foot Carriage with a pin weight 3,100 before we added the generator. Which is a 6500 watt generator . We tow with a 2 ton dodge diesel Ram and it has pulled it coast to coast and north and south in the USA .
It is good to have a good big truck to tow it well. And our dually takes care of our heavy pin weight.
Do not be afraid to tow a bigger 5th wheel if you have a truck that will handle it safely, a dually has more stability.
