Window gasket shrinkage
Just wondering if I should replace those window gaskets that are starting to shrink or if I can recondition and stretch them back into place? Guess it's a matter of water damage prevention, etc... ...

Not sure what gaskets you mean, but if you are talking about the rubber trim, that fits in the slot on exterior window frames, it will only be temporary to stretch refit it. It is best to replace it, or you can just add a piece, after shrinking it even more. I think the manufacturer stretch fits it, just to save a few bucks per unit.
