Window trim on fiver

I have a window that is on the sun side of my trailer and was wondering if anyone knew how to fix this.
The trim is shrinking and not sure if this can be replaced or if there is some other fix other than replacing the window. I have never come across this before. As you can see how bad the trim looks, the sun has beat up the trim on all my windows that are always in the sun. Thanks
  • Looks like standard snap in trim. Should be able to find it at dealers parta department, possibly from the window supplier.
  • If you google RV window glazing bead, you will find several sources for this product. The sun takes it's toll on most materials. I think many RVs have shrinkage issues with this rubber glazing. I often think it is due to the manufacturers being so cheap, that they stretch the product, when applying, to make less do more. Mine has shrunk some, but is not sun damaged. I am just going to add some beading, after refitting, with no stretch.

My glazing bead is readily available, for just under 2 bucks a foot. It is easy to remove, and reapply. I hope you can find a proper replacement for yours. If you need a lot, it is cheaper to buy a large roll.
