winter travel with a 5th wheel
Is it safe to leave the furnace on a low temperature while driving in the winter? I would like to get food to my destination not frozen.

- Check that floor registers are not covered/blocked by slide outs etc......proper air flow is critical to safe furnace operation.
Also check that return air to furnace is not blocked/obstructed
Otherwise......safe to run furnace (actually safe even if above 2 conditions exist cause furnace hi limit will shut down furnace if it should overheat due to lack of proper air flow) - Is it safe? ... Don't know. Have I done it? ... yes
