Winterize a residential fridge.

I agree that was a problem to figure out. I turned off water supply, then had wife pump out ice , then disconnected water line from outside , then had her hold valve for water and blew low pressure air through to dispenser valve. I then disconnected the water supply at feed valve and drained that line. If that doesn't work I really don't care as it isn't going to be used this winter. It makes poor ice cubes anyway. Two trays in the freezer like home makes nicer cubes and one less thing to worry about. Just another one of my ideas. While on a rant one thing even dumber in our fiver is the garbage disposal. Why would any one want to grind up garbage to go into their grey tank. The dumpster is only a short walk and the park picks up garbage twice a week. PS have you priced those whirlpool filters yet? They average about $50.00 at sears. Personally not great features for fivers. Maybe that model refrigerator only comes with an ice maker
