I have just been blowing my BTF out with air. I also have an extra 12v pump that I use to add water to my fresh tank, when no water hookup is available, pump pink into the city hookup for winterizing, and could be used to run pink into the BTF.
I think your outside shower would work, with the right fitting, to run pink through the BTF. Let us know your fitting hookup idea.
