I agree with this post if they get their quota they can go home early so they rush through just to get it done.
I think they should have to sign units they build. They could base bonus and raises on the amount of return for warranty work.
Custom builders don't rush and do a great job but very few people can afford 150k + for a RV.
IMO, the warranty return numbers are one of the most closely guarded secrets in the entire RV industry. If the customers ever found out how much mfrs spend on fixing RVs, we'd simply stop buying them, as we'd see the "true" cost of these things. I'd love to know what every mfr calcs in for warranty repairs on their cost/unit basis. The fact that you can, without much trouble, get a 35% discount on almost any RV out there, shows where the real price-point is. When you see last years' models being sold for 45-50% off, then you know the dealers are still making 15-20% profit on new units.
