We done it frequently in our toyhauler, how else are you going to get to the choice spots. There's been a few roads we've run into that our 4x4 would have issues traversing, of course we never would take our rig down such roads, but most of the logging/fire roads we've run into have been manageable. We take it slow and easy, our reward is an awesome boondocking site along a spring fed creek at 8K+ elevation or camping in a high desert valley surrounded by red colored cliffs. You've been down the road and ultimately it's your decision to make, enjoy your trip no matter where you end up.
