Old-Biscuit, I had also thought about using a PVC plug, but it has to be air tight to keep my pump from cycling. I'm sure I can get it to work but will save that as a last resort. By the way, my wife almost s**t herself when I told her WW is back.

Yes, very similar. I got mine from the local big box store. My lines were easy to access as my connections are very close to the sink. It looks like Shark Bite makes a check valve that should be a breeze to install.
