The operative word is "should".
I haven't heard of any 3rd party covering WW's repairs. I don't think there is any such coverage, unless you also took out an extended warranty. Try talking to your dealer.
Even with an extended warranty, you are out of luck with issues reagarding leaks and re-sealing units. Extended warranties are very clear on what they cover.
If you have leaks and damage from leaks, your dealer should work with you as mine did. But you still have to pay.
