WW Superlite leaking around front window

I have a 2004 WW Superlite FK1900 that has developed a bad leak around the front window which I am unable to locate the source. I am getting a fairly steady stream of water that drips out from under the window frame on the inside of the trailer onto the top of the kitchen counter by the sink. I have gone over the outside of the window with a fine tooth comb and cant find anything visually where water could be penetrating.

Anyone have this problem or can offer up any advice to track it down?

  • Yup, go higher. Had the same thing happen the only Fall I did not go onto the roof and add a tube of Dicor. Now it's a routine, every September I get up there and add a tube to any spot that doesn't look perfectly sealed. Speaking of which, I need to go get a tube this weekend...
  • Look up higher, just because it leaks out the window frame doesn't mean that the window is the problem, water could be getting in on the roof or somewhere eles....it follows gravity and the path of least resistance.
  • First step for me would be to remove the window and scrape off all the old butyl material. Buy a new roll of butyl tape and put the window back in.

The window on my FK1900 has never leaked but the roof did where the rubber meets the siding across the front. I ended up needing to replace the entire roof and part of the floor.
