WW toilet water valve question.

Anyone know what valve I should order for my 2007 WW fsw 3200 for a direct replacement..?

The existing toilet has the little spray handle mounted up on the wall behind the toilet coming from the valve.

I am 2500 miles away from it so don't know what toilet/valve is in there now. Had a small leak from the valve last trip and forgot to get the info off the toilet/valve. And would like to bring the correct replacement valve out with me next trip.

Has anyone else had a problem with the existing water tube feeding the toilet valve coming out of that ? soffit ? or whatever that wall board box behind the toilet is ?
Mine has about 1" of exposed tubing coming out of that box at an angle, bent with a crimp in it...? I will probably have to open up that soffit and replace that tubing and add a shut off valve.

And help would be much appreciated, thanks...
  • do a pressure test on the city water inlet and that is gonna show u evrywater leak that u might have through out the system.those guys at warrior lifestyles are all new so they might know how to run a buss.but dont know how to fix ww or what it takes to install the parts that they sell.lol.
  • If it is leaking when the pump is on and not at the toilet valve itself that would eliminate the vacuum brake. My vacuum brake only leaked when flushing. If you do not see water dripping from the toilet valve itself then I would think it is one of the crimp connections on the 1/2" pex line. I had to replace a bunch of the crimp connections on mine. The originals were plastic and tended to crack. I used push to connect fittings from Sea Tech or Watts for repairs. I had to order them online. You can also use sharkbite brass fittings from Lowes or Home depot. be prepared to follow the Pex lines from the toilet/bathroom sink/water heater/shower/etc to find the leak.
  • I've got a decent idea of what a vacuum breaker does, just can't see my trailer ever having the black water tank overflowing high enough in the toilet to siphon back down the fresh water line. Suppose the ball valve shut off I'm about to install would stop that siphon effect then anyhow, if the water valve didn't already.

Is there another reason for a vacuum break.

Is a vacuum breaker actually needed, or can it be replaced with an elbow, or tee..?

there are two places where it could leak. the vacuum break and the foot valve. both have hose clamps that could come loose. Do a search on the Traveler Lite 210 and you will find pictures and parts diagrams. Hopefully it will match your model.

Thank you baker01, did a search as you suggested, and you were correct, the Sealand Traveler Lite 210that is the exact toilet in my TH. This is what makes forums like this GREAT..!
I called 4 different rv places, including Warrior Lifestyles, they were all very nice and helpful, all could sell me a valve, but none could tell me what toilet was in my TH.

I keep my TH at Glamis dunes storage, all my repairs are made there or at the dunes. And something has got to be done as water was dripping out of the side of the trailer right under the bathroom outside wall. Hope it hasn't started to rot the wood yet.

In order to have whatever might be needed to repair the leak, will just take with me on my next dune trip, a water valve and the vacuum break, and bring some tubing/fittings/clamps, and a shut off ball valve. Is there a usual culprit here, what usually leaks, the vacuum break, the water valve, or maybe just the tube connections/hose clamps..?

Now that I'm thinking about it, whenever the water pump was on, the water dripped outside wall, under bathroom. When the pump was turned off, the drip would slow down and eventually stop.
If the vacuum break was leaking, wouldn't it only leak when the toilet was flushed, because it only gets water when the water valve is actuated, is that correct..?

I am not familiar with rv toilets at all. Is it best to remove the toilet to work on the valve/vacuum break ? There is not much room around it... And is separating the bowl from the bottom base by removing that clamp the best way to get access, or should I just take the whole thing right off the floor..?

What size tubing and fittings are needed for the water inlet to the toilet valve ?
Anyone know whats in that 'wallboard' box behind the toilet where the water line comes out of..? I got to pull that apart also to get at and change out the short kinked water line.

Contact them and find out which brand/model of toilet was used in your rig.

Could be Thetford, Sealant etc. and several of the different models
