My BIL's new trailer has them and we were in a RV park recently in Bullhead, AZ and it was blowing pretty good (imagine that windy in the desert!). The wheels were basically off the ground and he complained about being a lot or rocking. My old school jack type and Strong Arms do a GREAT job, trailer was rock solid.
If one side is off the ground, it's going to rock. Same if the nose is way up in the air.
If I can tell that the gear in the front is going to be fully extended, I'll put a stack of blocks under both of the front jacks.
Same with the wheels being in the air: If one side is off the ground, I'll pound some leveling blocks underneath to support the wheels.
That's all to keep it from rocking when people walk around inside. I can't say that we've had much movement from the wind though.
