I agree, believe OP will need to check the weight on the 42' 5er and as far as GN versus 5er hitch...I believe the best thing to avoid all the "heated debate" at times, is to call the manufacturer to see what the people that manufactured the 5er say about it and what their warranty recommends. Get it straight from the horses mouth:)
