I am biased as I own a Polaris and everyone in our group has a RZR from my little 800s to my brothers 1000 turbo. Polaris has been good to me and I would/ will probable buy another.
The only Yamaha I have been around went back due to the wife's dislike of the paddle shifters and three frame failures. More the wife's dislike as Yamaha stepped up and did good on the frame repairs.
The Can-Am is style wise my favorite. Not having been in one really can't help other than to say that my 800 can't keep up and they have definitely given my brothers 1000 turbo a run for its money.
I like the 1000 rzrs as it keeps the narrower width and a little shorter wheel base. I currently haul in the bed of my pickup so I would hate to lose that option. Also the extra power would be nice, don't necessarily need it but it doesn't hurt to have it. Can-am also shows a 64" width model so I will have to take a look at them if/when I decide to upgrade.
