ependydad I understand your objective, however the first issue is dry weights obtained from brochures web sites and sales literature are notoriously inaccurate.
They generally do not account for options such as 2nd A/C,washer dryer,on board genset etc.
By the way I have all those items and my CCC was 1/2 gone before I put anything into my rig! Not to mention the genset and 2nd A/C jacked up my pin weight vs. the brochure.
While I was aware of the inaccuracy between marketing info and reality, the manufacture emphasizes the lower number and does not inform the consumer that optional equipment will effect the final payload/pin weight figures
However the yellow sticker posted on the RV somewhere! (HA HA) not sure if they are in the same spot on all rigs. Will list a fairly accurate dry as shipped weight.
You may have better accuracy using the sticker figure in your calculator, however the sticker figure is not readily available on line or in the literature.
Trouble with the sticker is it varies with each unit. A prospective buyer could check sticker of unit on lot and use it as a guideline but it still may not be accurate for future purchase.
Getting sticker weight on a similar rig will give buyer a fairly accurate idea, however so will 20-25% of GVW.
