My 11200 lb trailer has the same 16" LT E at 2680 lb per tire on 5.2k axles which is probably what axles you have. No issues with 55k+ miles on the first set and 52k miles on the 2nd set.
For a better idea upgrade above your OEM LT225/75-16 E 29.4" diameter tires is the all time popular replacement for the ST E is a LT245/75-16 E 30.7" diameter tire at 3042 lb capacity.
Or as Me Again says the LT E Michelin XPS Ribs or the LT E Bridgestone R-250 both a commercial grade all steel ply carcass are the two holy grail of the 16" LT E tires for trailer service.
The above tires mentioned work great on 5.2k-6k axles.
You sure don't need Sailun load G at 4080-4400 lbs/110 psi on that size trailer.
I don't see any drawbacks with your hitch situation for just 3/4" difference in tire diameter which is 12'-15' aft of the hitch.
